I am honored to be invited to give an artist talk at Nacovid - online artist talk, video and performance series, organized by NACK espacio critico, Mexico City, Mexico.
In this Talk, I will be presenting my new project, The Oceans Beyond, which forms from my connections and disconnections to my homeland (Jinjing, Jinjiang, China) and where I am now (Vancouver, Canada), and how this (dis)connections transform the identities, borders, cultures, and languages. Also, I will address the body of water in relation to the Asian diaspora.
